FORMATION
The society was started at Christ the king parish Bronx USA although we were members already in Ghana (West Africa) where my friend Joana took the lead to the states and worship at Christ the king parish, so I also left Ghana to usa (Bronx) to join my sister Joana and she suggested we form the society in Bronx.
All the women at the parish that time at a number around 21 joined the course of the formation of the society.

Father akoto of St Mageret Mary parish made an invitation to also form St Theresa of the child Jesus at his parish as he had already gather the women in the church, their readiness was beyond expectation and that led to a swift organization.
For that he requested a talk with the women, I honestly wanted to solidify Bronx to which cause a little delay that lead to the women formed first Christian mother’s society.
Meanwhile I was still mandated to guide and direct the newly formed Christian mother society and finally brought out St. Theresa in addition to the parish.
Later Brooklyn was formed and a regular visit was initiated to push up the growth of the St. Theresa of the child Jesus society at the region.
A lot of hard work and sacrifices were done to add about 5 regions to the society under my reign.
During my time, I saw to the delivery of society clothes at cheap prices to members since it was the beginning of the society formation.
Some of the funds for the society were also used for organizing retreat and spiritual gatherings.

CHOOSING THE NAME
The name St. Theresa of the child Jesus was giving to the formation by rev father tikoe and bishop
essien upon understanding the well and dedicated life lived by the saint.

The association has grown with the help of the almighty and today the society can boast of the spiritual and social elevation to the glory of our beloved St. Theresa of the child Jesus.
MY PRAYERS
The society can’t be handle by a single person and therefore It’s my prayer that the love and unity that has existed for the past years continue and grow stronger.
